Tourist complex “Shahdag” is the first ski resort in Azerbaijan. Shahdag is located in the north-east corner of the country on the territory of Shahdag National Park, in Gusar region of Azerbaijan near Shahdag mountain. This complex occupies a well-deserved place in the list of the most beautiful corners of the Caucasus. Shahdag is suitable for advanced and beginner skiers. It’s equipped with trails, both for beginners and real professionals. It’s also equipped with 11 cable cars of several types – chairlifts, platter lifts, and gondola. 14 ski slopes stretching along 17 kilometers are designed for various levels of complexity – both for children and beginners, and advanced skiers. Each trail is prepared with the help of artificial snow generators, which makes the ski season long, and trails more qualitative and pleasant for skiing.
Tufandag Mountain Resort offers its visitors a natural scenery of incomparable beauty and harmony. Set like a jewel in the crown of mountains that surround it, Tufandag Mountain Resort is a must see place for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts.
1st Day: Arrival to Baku, meeting at the airport. Transfer to Gabala (4,5 hour drive), check in to Qafqaz Tufandag Mountain Resort hotel 5*. Free time.
2nd Day-3th Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Skiing. Free time.
Tufandag Mountain Resort provides green and blue ski slopes for beginners and moderate skiers, as well as red and black slopes for professionals. It is possible to rent needed skiing equipment in the skiing center on the territory of the resort. If you want to take ski lessons, professional instructors will be at your disposal.
Four ropeways extending over 5.5 km will take you for a one hour journey up to a mountain top at 1920 m height, opening spectacular views of Gabala and surrounding mountains.
Other activities besides skiing are hiking, snowmobiling and snowboarding.
4th Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and pick-up at 08:00.Transfer to Baku.
The way from Gabala to Baku (4 hour drive) passes through the Russian forest, river valleys, the famous Chestnut forest and numerous picturesque villages. We will also have a stop at so called “bucket bazaar”, authentic market where you can buy some fruits and vegetables which are measured and sold by bucket, not by scale.
Check in to the hotel in Baku. Lunch time.
Baku City tour (duration 3-4 hours): Baku business and hotel complex Flame Towers Baku is the new landmark of the city. It is composed of 3 buildings. The surface of the Towers is fully covered with LED screens reflecting different visual characters in motion, easily visible from the far corners of the city. The Alley of Martyrs is usually being included in the protocol visits of the foreign officials. Baku’s Highland Park (also called Upland Park) is the highest point in the Azerbaijani capital, opening a panoramic view of the city and its bay.
So-called Little Venice is a small town on the water and one of the jewels of Baku. It is situated on Baku Boulevard and has two large and several small islands connected by decorative stone bridges, and gondolas can be seen travelling in the channels full of still and clean water.
Icheri Sheher (Old City), known as a “fortress”, is a unique historical and architectural conservation area in the center of Baku. This is one of the ancient and densely populated places of the country. Archaeological excavations revealed burial vaults of the Bronze Age. Maiden Tower (12th century) and The Palace of Shirvanshahs (13th-16th centuries) are the best known historical monuments located in the Old City. Besides them there are a lot of other unique monuments such as mosques, minarets, the remnants of caravanserais “Multani” and “Bukhara”, ancient baths, etc. You can purchase national clothes, kerchiefs, scarves and caps, dishes and handmade carpets in the numerous souvenir shops. Philharmonic Park is a Baku’s Green Oasis just outside the walls of the Old City.

– Pedestrian Nizami (former Torgovaya) Street – old trading zone with lots of shops and boutiques
– Fountain Square – most popular public place with many restaurants and shops, main location for public festivals, shows and celebrations
– Park Boulevard Mall – first shopping mall in Baku
– Baku Boulevard – a promenade established in 1909, second largest one in Europe
– Boat trip along Baku Bay (seasonal)

5th Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and pick-up at 08:00. Transfer to Qusar (3 hour drive), check in to the hotel in Shahdag Mountain Resort Complex. Free time.
6th Day-8th Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Skiing. Free time.
The Complex equipped with 11 cable cars of several types: chairlifts, platter lifts and gondola. 18 ski slopes stretching along 17 kilometers are designed for various levels of complexity – for children, beginners and advanced skiers. Resort has ski shops with all the latest equipment for you to rent or buy and friendly staff on hand to gladly assist you with professional advice to enjoy your skiing experience regardless of your skiing level. The ski school is suitable for beginners and advanced skiers with private or group lessons offered at your convenience. You can buy or rent skis, helmets, snowboards and any other necessary equipment, book lessons and start exploring the mountains.
Other activities available are Zip line, Paintball, Snowmobile tours, Snow grooming trips, Snow tubing, Quad tours, Horseback riding, Children sledges, Adventure park, Children park, Ice rink and Shooting center.
9th Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Check out, transfer to the airport.
